This is the Valeo type heater fitted to later facelifted models of the KB4. The pipes were not soldered directly to the heater like earlier models and are removed and re-used via a flange fitting. New clamps and seals are supplied.

This direct replacement copper and brass aftermarket heater matrix was developed and manufactured in the UK using only top quality materials. It has been used to replace the poor quality original heater for years and is considered to be very robust. Recently sales went down due to an influx of cheap aluminium imports which flooded the market. These heaters have small water tubes which block easily and are very weak. These heaters have been failing and I am already replacing them. Please consider this when buying your new heater as the cost and time of the labour will far outweigh any saving. I try to keep my price as low as possible due to the competition but I have to pay a little extra for the quality -
